Travel and Leisure Readers’ 10 Best Las Vegas Hotels for 2023

A list of the best Vegas hotels somehow doesn’t include Circus Circus.

Travel and Leisure readers voted for a number “Best Of” Awards for 2023, including Las Vegas hotels. Hotels are rated in the following categories:

  • Rooms/facilities
  • Location
  • Service
  • Food
  • Value

Vegas is a compelling, competitive market. Of the 25 largest hotels in the world (by number of rooms), 13 are in Las Vegas. Yes, Wikipedia is the best source for this. Other lists combine the City Center resorts, Aria, Vdara, and Waldorf Astoria, into one. I’m not into that. None of the Vegas hotels, despite their size, cracked Travel and Leisure’s top 100 World ranking. Here are the top 10 Vegas hotels according to Travel and Leisure readers:

  • Wynn: 92.75
  • Waldorf Astoria: 91.40
  • Cosmo: 90.04
  • Four Seasons: 88.60
  • Venetian: 87.17
  • Encore: 86.49
  • Bellagio: 85.59
  • Aria: 84.89
  • Vdara: 82.96
  • Park MGM: 82.61

This maximalist resort on the Strip checks all the Sin City boxes: designer shopping, buzzy nightlife, levely entertainment, and world-class dining–including the chic supper club Delilah.

Travel and Leisure on Wynn

There are a couple of interesting notes here. No Caesars resort makes the list, including their flagship Caesars Palace. I’m guessing this is due to most of their hotels sitting in a perpetual state of disrepair. The disparity between Wynn and Encore doesn’t surprise me. Encore is deserving of a spot in the top 10, but Wynn hogs the restaurants. Palazzo’s absence is notable, though despite suffering from the same self-sacrifices as Encore, it’s surely ahead of Vdara in all facets.

For reference, the lowest score of the Travel and Leisure top 100 hotels is 96.71. Despite their mass, Vegas resorts still have a ways to go to compete with the world’s best in class.

What do you make of the list? What would be your top 10?
